Pouzay is located about 38 kilometers south-southwest of Tours on the Vienne . Neighboring municipalities of Pouzay are Saint-Épain in the north, Noyant-de-Touraine in the north and northeast, Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine in the east and northeast, Maillé in the southeast, Nouâtre and Marcilly-sur-Vienne in the south, Rilly-sur- Vienne in the south-west, Parçay-sur-Vienne in the west and north-west and Trogues in the north-west.
