Panzoult is a French municipality with 595 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Chinon and the canton of Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine (until 2015: canton of L'Île-Bouchard ).

geography

Panzoult is located about 29 kilometers southwest of Tours on the Vienne , which borders the municipality in the south. Panzoult is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cheillé in the north, Avon-les-Roches in the east and northeast, Crouzilles in the southeast, L'Île-Bouchard in the south and southeast, Sazilly in the southwest, Cravant-les-Côteaux in the west and Rivarennes in the northwest.
