The inhabitants are called Parçayais .

Parçay-sur-Vienne is about 35 kilometers south-southwest of Tours on the Vienne , which borders the municipality in the north. Parçay-sur-Vienne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Crouzilles in the north and north-west, Trogues in the north and north-east, Pouzay in the east and south-east, Rilly-sur-Vienne in the south, Chezelles in the south and south-west and Theneuil in the west.
