Parçay-sur-Vienne is a French municipality with 644 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Chinon and the canton of Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine (until 2015: canton of L'Île-Bouchard ). The inhabitants are called Parçayais .
geography
Parçay-sur-Vienne is about 35 kilometers south-southwest of Tours on the Vienne , which borders the municipality in the north. Parçay-sur-Vienne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Crouzilles in the north and north-west, Trogues in the north and north-east, Pouzay in the east and south-east, Rilly-sur-Vienne in the south, Chezelles in the south and south-west and Theneuil in the west.
