Marcilly-sur-Vienne is located about 34 kilometers south-southwest of Tours on the Vienne , which borders the municipality in the east. Marcilly-sur-Vienne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pouzay in the north, Nouâtre in the east, Ports in the south and south-east, Luzé in the south-west and Rilly-sur-Vienne in the west.
