Saint-Benoît-la-Forêt is a French municipality with 851 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chinon and the Canton of Chinon (until 2015: Canton Azay-le-Rideau ). The inhabitants are called Bénédictains .

Saint-Benoît-la-Forêt is located in the Touraine between the Indre and Loire. Saint-Benoît-la-Forêt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rigny-Ussé in the north, Rivarennes in the east and northeast, Cravant-les-Côteaux in the south, Chinon in the southwest and Huismes in the west.
