The Communauté de communes Chinon, Vienne et Loire is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and currently comprises 19 communities. The administrative headquarters are in Chinon .

Historical development

It was re-established in 2014 through the merger of the former communal associations Communauté de communes de Rivière-Chinon-Saint-Benoît-la-Forêt , Communauté de communes de la Rive gauche de la Vienne and Communauté de communes du Véron .

On January 1, 2017, the municipalities of Anche and Cravant-les-Côteaux from the former Communauté de communes du Bouchardais joined the local association.

With effect from January 1, 2018, the municipality of Chouzé-sur-Loire left the Communauté de communes Touraine Ouest Val de Loire and joined the local association.
