Couziers is a French municipality with 375 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chinon and the Canton of Chinon . The inhabitants are called couzéens .
geography
Couziers is about eight miles west of Chinon . The Vienne limits the community in the northeast. Couziers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Candes-Saint-Martin in the north, Saint-Germain-sur-Vienne in the east and north-east, Lerné in the east and south-east, Roiffé in the south and south-west and Fontevraud-l'Abbaye in the west and north-west.
