Villebourg is a French municipality with 298 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Chinon and the canton of Château-Renault (until 2015: canton of Neuvy-le-Roi ). The inhabitants are called Villebourgeois .
geography
Villebourg is about 31 kilometers north-northwest of Tours on the Vandœuvre River . Villebourg is surrounded by the neighboring communities Dissay-sous-Courcillon in the north and northwest, Épeigné-sur-Dême in the northeast, Bueil-en-Touraine in the east, Saint-Paterne-Racan in the south and Saint-Christophe-sur-le-Nais in the West.
