Charentilly is a French commune with 1,257 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Chinon and the canton of Château-Renault (until 2015: canton of Neuillé-Pont-Pierre ). The inhabitants are called Charentillais .

Charentilly is about ten kilometers north-northwest of Tours . Charentilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Semblançay in the north and west, Saint-Antoine-du-Rocher in the east and northeast, La Membrolle-sur-Choisille in the southeast, Fondettes in the south and Saint-Roch in the west and southwest.
