Champigny-sur-Veude is a French municipality with 851 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Chinon and the canton of Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine (until 2015: canton of Richelieu ). The inhabitants are called Campinois .

Champigny-sur-Veude is located about 16 kilometers south-southeast of Chinon . Neighboring municipalities of Champigny-sur-Veude are Lémeré in the north, La Tour-Saint-Gelin in the east, Chaveignes in the south and east, Richelieu in the south, Pouant in the southwest and Assay in the west.
