Avon-les-Roches is a French commune of 548 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Chinon and the canton of Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine (until 2015: canton of L'Île-Bouchard ).

Avon-les-Roches is about 27 kilometers southwest of Tours . Avon-les-Roches is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cheillé in the north and northwest, Villaines-les-Rochers in the northeast, Neuil and Crissay-sur-Manse in the east, Crouzilles in the south and Panzoult in the west and southwest.
