Villaines-les-Rochers is a French commune with 1,067 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Tours and the Canton of Chinon (until 2015: Canton Azay-le-Rideau ). The inhabitants are called Villainois .

Villaines-les-Rochers is about 22 kilometers southwest of Tours in the Touraine . Villaines-les-Rochers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cheillé in the north and north-west, Saché in the east and north-east, Neuil in the south and south-east and Avon-les-Roches in the west and south-west.
