Reugny is a French commune with 1,690 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Tours and the Canton of Vouvray . The inhabitants are called Reugnois .
geography
Reugny is located about 14 kilometers northeast of Tours in the Touraine countryside on the Gault River . Reugny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villedômer in the north, Neuillé-le-Lierre in the north and northeast, Montreuil-en-Touraine in the east, Nazelles-Négron in the southeast, Chançay in the south, Vernou-sur-Brenne in the south and southwest, Monnaie in the West and Crotelles to the northwest.
The A10 autoroute runs through the municipality .
