Saint-Branchs is a French commune with 2,607 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Tours and the Canton of Monts (until 2015: Canton Chambray-lès-Tours ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Branchois .

Saint-Branchs is on the Échandon and Becquet rivers , tributaries of the Indre . The Bourdin River borders the municipality to the west . Saint-Branchs is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Veigné in the north and northwest, Esvres in the north and northeast, Cormery in the northeast, Tauxigny-Saint-Bauld in the east, Louans in the south, Sainte-Catherine-de-Fierbois in the southwest and Sorigny in the west.
