Ballan-Miré is a French municipality with 7975 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Tours and is the capital of the canton Ballan-Miré .

The municipality of Ballan-Miré was created in 1818 by merging the towns of Ballan and Miré.
