Lignières-de-Touraine is a French commune with 1,308 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Tours and the Canton of Chinon (until 2015: Canton Azay-le-Rideau ). The inhabitants are called Lignérois .

Lignières-de-Touraine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chapelle-aux-Naux in the north, Vallères in the east and northeast, Azay-le-Rideau in the south and Bréhémont in the west.
