Cinais is a French municipality with 423 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chinon and the Canton of Chinon . The inhabitants are called Cinaisiens .
geography
Cinais lies on the Vienne , which forms the northern municipal boundary. The Négron tributary also flows here . Cinais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beaumont-en-Véron in the north, Chinon in the east and northeast, La Roche-Clermault in the east and southeast, Seuilly in the south and Thizay in the west.
