Saint-Germain-sur-Vienne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Savigny-en-Véron in the north, Beaumont-en-Véron in the east and northeast, Thizay in the east and southeast, Lerné in the south, Couziers in the south and west and Candes-Saint- Martin in the northwest.
