Lémeré is a French municipality with 518 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Chinon and the canton of Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine (until 2015: canton of Richelieu ). The inhabitants are called Lémeréziens .

geography

Lémeré is about 14 kilometers southeast of Chinon . The Veude limits the municipality to the west. Neighboring municipalities of Lémeré are Anché in the north and north-west, Sazilly in the north and north-east, Tavant in the north-east, Brizay in the east, La Tour-Saint-Gelin in the south-east, Champigny-sur-Veude in the south, Assay in the south-west and Ligré in the west.
