geography

Rivière lies in the Touraine on the Vienne , which forms the northern municipal boundary, and on the Veude , which forms the eastern municipal boundary. Rivière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chinon in the north and west, Cravant-les-Côteaux in the northeast, Anché in the east and Ligré in the south.
