Kim Schwabenbauer (born on September 14, 1980 in Knox as Kimberley Kahle DeNovellis ) is a former American triathlete .

Career

Kim Schwabenbauer started her first Ironman in Hawaii in 2008 and has been a professional athlete since 2013. The strong running athlete was trained by Jesse Kropelnicki . In September 2017, the then 37-year-old came second at the Ironman Chattanooga .

Kim Schwabenbauer has not appeared internationally since 2017. She is active as a coach and nutritionist. Schwabenbauer lives with her husband in Knox, Pennsylvania and their daughter was born in August 2016.
