Amber Ferreira (* 28. April 1982 as Amber Cullen ) is a US-based endurance athlete, triathlete and Ironman -Siegerin (2014).

Career

Amber Ferreira was active in snowshoeing, running and triathlon. In 2012 she became vice world champion in snowshoeing and in March 2014 she won the title of US champion for the second time since 2010.

In July 2014 she won the Ironman USA in Lake Placid in her eleventh start on the long distance triathlon (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) . With that she qualified for a starting place at Ironman Hawaii , where she finished 21st in October.

She lives with her husband in Concord, New Hampshire .
