Port-de-Piles is a French village with 566 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Châtellerault and is part of the canton of Châtellerault-2 (until 2015: canton of Dangé-Saint-Romain ).

Port-de-Piles is located about 20 kilometers north-northeast of Châtellerault . Here the Creuse flows into the Vienne . Port-de-Piles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Celle-Saint-Avant in the north and north-east, Descartes in the east and south-east, Les Ormes in the south, Pussigny in the west and south-west and Ports and Nouâtre in the north-west.
The municipality's train station is on the Tours – Saint-Nazaire railway line .
