Guesnes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Angliers in the north and north-west, La Roche-Rigault in the north and north-east, Maulay and Dercé in the north-east, Monts-sur-Guesnes in the east, Verrue in the south and La Chaussée in the west and south-west.
