Saint-Clair is a French municipality with 196 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Châtellerault and the canton of Loudun (until 2015 canton of Moncontour ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Clairois .
Saint-Clair is about 38 kilometers north-northwest of Poitiers . Saint-Clair is surrounded by the neighboring communities Martaizé in the north, Aulnay in the north-east, La Chaussée in the east, Saint-Jean-de-Sauves in the south and Ouzilly in the west and north-west.
