Martaizé is a French village with 380 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Châtellerault and the canton of Loudun (until 2015: canton of Moncontour ). The inhabitants are called Martaizéens .
geography
Martaizé is about 35 kilometers north-northwest of Poitiers . Martaizé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mouterre-Silly in the north, Angliers in the east and northeast, Aulnay in the east, Saint-Clair in the south and Moncontour in the west and southwest.
