Ceaux-en-Loudun is a French municipality with 553 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Châtellerault and the canton of Loudun . The inhabitants are called Ceauxois or Ceaussois .

Ceaux-en-Loudun is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marçay in the north and north-west, Assay in the north and north-east, Pouant in the east, Maulay in the south, La Roche-Rigault in the south and south-west, Messemé in the south-west and Sammarçolles in the west.
