Mazeuil is a French village with 253 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Châtellerault and the canton of Loudun (until 2015 canton of Moncontour ).
Mazeuil is about 31 kilometers northwest of Poitiers . Mazeuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Jean-de-Sauves in the north, Chouppes in the east, Cuhon in the south and south-east, Craon in the south and south-west and La Grimaudière in the west.
