Kirakira is the provincial capital of the Solomonic province of Makira and Ulawa . Kirakira is located on the north coast of Makira (formerly San Cristóbal), the largest island in the province. Roads lead 18 km east to the Warihito River and 100 km west to Maro'u Bay.

The airfield Kirakira is from Solomon Airlines operated and offers flights to Honiara and other destinations.
