Boldekow Church
The Boldekow church is from the 13th / 15th centuries. Century church building in Boldekow in Western Pomerania .
The tile-roofed field stone hall dates from the 15th century. The rectangular choir , which was built in the 13th century, has hardly moved in . After the church was destroyed in the Thirty Years War , restoration work began in 1728. The two-storey, half- timbered church tower with a curved dome over the west gable, as well as the arched shape of the windows, the arched shape of the portals and the plastering , also originate from this time . The building was renovated in the 19th century. The western extension was completed in 1950.
The interior is flat. The uniform baroque interior dates from the 18th century. These include a pulpit altar , box stalls and a horseshoe gallery with openwork carvings. The sound cover with strut crown and the coat of arms of the von Schwerin family shows the heart of Jesus in the crown . The round base of a medieval baptismal font is made of granite. The base and the baptismal font, which presumably date from 1320, were found in 2015 during renovation work in the ground of the church. The organ with a three-part, neo-Gothic prospectus was made in 1852 by FW Kaltschmidt from Stettin. Pastor portraits show JP Adelung († 1759, father of Johann Christoph Adelung ), JF Sprengel († 1808) and FC Lüdicke († 1893). The age of the pastors' board with the names of the pastors since the Reformation is not determined.
The ringing consists of three bells that were cast in Bad Friedrichshall in 2003 . They hang in the free-standing belfry in the churchyard.
The Protestant parish has been part of the Pasewalk provost in the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany since 2012 . Before that she belonged to the Greifswald parish of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church .
