The Kirchner Peak is a somewhat isolated and 1170  m high mountain in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Nebraska Peaks of the Britannia Range, it rises 3 km north-northeast of the Gaylord Ridge .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 2000 after the American Joseph F. Kirchner, geophysicist on the Ross Ice Shelf Project of the United States Antarctic Research Program from 1974 to 1975 and from 1976 to 1977.
