Kirill Andreevich Gun

Kirill Andreyevich Gun ( Russian Кирилл Андреевич Гун * 8. April 1898 ; † 31 October 1983 ) was a Soviet theater - and film - actor .

Life and accomplishments

Kirill Gun was the son of the architect Andrei L. Gun, who taught as a professor at the Academy of Arts .

He graduated from the Drama School at the Alexandrinsky Theater in 1923 , briefly appeared in the Вольная комедия ( Wolnaja komedija ) theater in Leningrad and then played at the Free Theater from 1924 to 1927 . This was followed by engagements at the Gosnardom Drama Theater (1929–1931), at the LOUT Comedy Theater (1934–1935) and at the LOSPS Theater (1936), which was founded as part of the Proletkultur program . From 1937 to 1941 Gun finally appeared at the Leningrad Comedy Theater .

The dark-haired actor made his film debut in 1927 in Nikolai Grigorjewitsch Schpikowskis Чашка чая ( Tschaschka tschaja ). A year later he could be heard in the animated films Бузилка ( Busilka ) and Комната с мебелью ( Komnata s mebelju ) as a speaker and also gave a supporting role in Сын рыбака ( Syn rybaka ), a film about Mikhail Lomonosov . After three more films, Gun no longer appeared in front of the camera between 1930 and 1947; he took another long break from 1949 to 1957. In the meantime he could be seen in the biographies Пирогов ( Pirogow , 1947) about Nikolai Pirogow and Академик Иван Павлов ( Akademik Iwan Pawlow , 1949) about Ivan Pavlov . From the late 1950s to 1981 Gun appeared regularly in film, his filmography includes 37 works. He was only seen as a supporting actor or extra . In 1960 Gun was a civil servant in The Lady with the Puppy , under the direction of Nadezhda Koschewerowa he appeared in An ancient fairy tale (1968) and Тень ( Ten , 1971), after he played an unlisted role as a courtier in her fairy tale film Cinderella in 1947 had depicted. Gun was also with Fyodor Mikhailovich Nikitin (1900–1988) in the short film Лебединая песня ( Lebedinaja pesnja , 1965) based on a story by Anton Chekhov , other literary adaptations were Игрок ( Igrok , 1972) based on the novel The Gamer von Fjodor Dostoevsky and The Adventures of the Balloon Pilot JA after Jules Verne . He had his last appearance in 1981 in 20 декабря ( 20 dekabrja ), a television series based on a screenplay by Julian Semenov .
