history

In the 1970s, remnants of Neolithic settlement and a Roman villa rustica were found a little north of today's hamlet .

It is not possible to determine exactly when the present-day town was built. It is known, however, that one of the predecessor chapels of today's chapel was built in the 16th century.

  • Remains of a Roman villa rustica about 250 m north of today's settlement; The excavated foundations of this Roman manor have an area of approximately 800 m². The remains of hypocausts were found in the area of three rooms . At some distance from the remains of the main house, the remains of a brick kiln were found, based on which one can conclude that there was a small brick factory, presumably for the estate's own use.
