The Kitseguecla River is an approximately 32 km long orographic left tributary of the Skeena River in the northwest of the Canadian province of British Columbia .

The Kitseguecla River forms the drain of Kitseguecla Lake , a small mountain lake in the Hazelton Mountains , 30 km northwest of Smithers . From there it flows in a predominantly north-westerly direction. 14 km above the mouth, the Kitsuns Creek meets the Kitseguecla River from the left. This finally flows into the Skeena River at the Kitseguecla settlement , 20 km south-southwest of Hazelton . The British Columbia Highway 16 (Yellow Head Highway) crosses the Kitseguecla River immediately above the mouth.

The catchment area of the Kitseguecla River covers 728 km². The mean discharge is 15.3 m³ / s. The months of May, June and July are the most flowable.
