The Kjerringa ( Norwegian for wife ) is a 1425 m high nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Gjelsvikfjella des Fimbulheimen it rises south of the Nunatak Gubben and the Mayr chain .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1991 based on the naming of Nunataks Gubben (Norwegian for husband ).
