The kkStB series of tenders 48 was a series of tenders of the kkStB , whose tenders originally came from the Kaiser Ferdinands-Nordbahn (KFNB).
The KFNB procured these tenders for its locomotives from 1891 . They were supplied by the Floridsdorf locomotive factory and designated as series N by the KFNB .
After the nationalization of the KFNB, the kkStB classified these tenders as class 48 and continued to couple them exclusively with the locomotives of the series 104 (ex KFNB IIc).
