The steam locomotive series kkStB Cv was a narrow gauge - Tender Locomotive series of Imperial State Railways of Austria .

The kkStB procured two of these four-way coupled locomotives for the Bukowinaer Lokalbahnen ( 1908 ) and for the New Bukowinaer Lokalbahn ( 1912 ) as the Cv series  . The first two were named "JANOSZ" and "GRIGORCEA". The name of the series Cv is derived from the place name Czudin and the fact that it is a composite locomotive .

After the First World War, the machines of the Bukovina local railways remained in the Stryj KV workshop , while the other two came to the PKP as  D8-811 and D8-812 . The Deutsche Reichsbahn classified the two PKP machines as 99 2561-2562 after 1939 .
