Class dog ( English Teacher's Pet ) is an American animated series by the Walt Disney Company from 2000 to 2002. It was invented by Gary Baseman .

The student Leonard Helperman is astonished to discover that his dog Spot is the new classmate Scott Leandready. The dog feels called to higher things and therefore dresses up as a boy. This causes problems because Leonard's mother is also his teacher and is not allowed to learn the secret of the new student. Scott is also very popular, especially with Leonard's secret love, Leslie Dunkling.

The series was broadcast from September 9, 2000 to May 10, 2002 in the United States by ABC . The German first broadcast on the German Disney Channel took place on September 15, 2001. The broadcast on Super RTL followed from January 1, 2004. Later broadcasts by the broadcasters ORF eins , SRF 1 and Toon Disney followed .
For the series, a movie was released in 2004 under the title Disneys Klassenhund: Der Film .
