Klaus-Peter Möllmann

Klaus-Peter Möllmann (born April 19, 1956 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German physicist .

Career

After graduating from high school, Klaus-Peter Möllmann studied physics at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the Humboldt University in Berlin and passed the diploma examination in 1981; in 1983 he was awarded a Dr. rer. nat. PhD . Until 1989 he worked as a research assistant at the Humboldt University in Berlin as a laboratory and working group leader. From 1988 to 1990 he was a scientific consultant for sensor and system development at the television electronics plant in Berlin-Oberschöneweide . In 1989 he received his doctorate with a thesis on "Semiconductor-physical principles of the development and application of HgCdTe-Photodiodes for the infrared spectral range "to the Dr. sc. nat. From 1989 to 1993 he was senior research assistant in the physics department at the Institute for Solid State Physics at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In 1993 he became a scientific advisor and application advisor for spectrometry with devices from Hitachi Scientific Instruments at Colora Messtechnik GmbH in Lorch (Württemberg) . Möllmann has been professor for experimental physics , especially solid-state physics , at the Technical University of Brandenburg since March 1994 .
