Klaus-Rainer Jackisch

Klaus-Rainer Jackisch (* 1964 ) is a German journalist .

Life

Jackisch studied economics and politics at the University of Cologne and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He earned his Master of Science degree in 1992, and his Ph.D. followed in 1995.

He initially worked as a journalist for newspapers in Ibbenbüren , Bielefeld , Cologne and Tübingen . He was interested in economic policy issues from an early age. This was followed by employment at dpa in London , Reuters in Bonn and the Frankfurter Rundschau . Jackisch then worked for the Hessischer Rundfunk .

From 1991 to 1995 Jackisch lived as a freelance correspondent in London . Another job followed for the hr.

Jackisch has been working as a WDR presenter and stock market editor since 1999 . Since 2001 he has worked as a domestic correspondent for Tagesschau and Tagesthemen . His main focus is on economic issues.
