Klaus Hart

Klaus Hart (* 1949 in Oldisleben in Thuringia ) is a German journalist, radio journalist, foreign correspondent, music producer and book author.

Life

Hart studied journalism and has been working as a freelance foreign correspondent in Brazil since 1986. He lived in Rio de Janeiro for twelve years ; his current residence is in São Paulo . From Brazil he worked for numerous radio and print media in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Klaus Hart is also the author or co-author of more than 30 volumes of reports on Brazil and has also published numerous travel books, travel guides and illustrated books.

As a critical and investigative journalist, Klaus Hart published socio-political reports and reports with a focus on Brazil in a wide range of newspapers - such as Jungle World and telegraph ; but also dubious machinations in the course of the reunification of Germany (e.g. in "Die Zeit") were the subject of his investigative reporting. Hart has also worked for the BBC and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung ; He reported for Deutsche Welle from Brazil and for some time (as of May 2018) has mainly published articles in the Jüdischen Allgemeine .

He produced music programs for the Música Popular Brasileira .

In his blog "Brasilientexte", Hart publishes reports from Brazil as well as conspiracy theory and right-wing populist articles.
