Klaus Hartenstein

Klaus Hartenstein (born March 24, 1930 ) is a former German soccer player .

The goalkeeper played for 1. FC Köln for two years after having played two seasons for FC Schalke 04 and one season for 1. FC Kaiserslautern . During his time in Cologne he came to a total of twelve missions, in which he mostly represented the injured Dutchman Frans de Munck . In 1954 the new goalkeeper Günter Jansen , who immediately became a regular goalkeeper, was put in front of his nose. He had three coaches for the billy goats: Helmut Schneider , Karl Winkler and Kurt Baluses .
