Klaus J. Breidenbach (born August 26, 1941 in Bad Driburg ) is a German typesetter , graduate in business administration and local researcher . He published under his baptismal name Nicolaus J. Breidenbach.

Life

Klaus Josef Breidenbach attended the Catholic elementary school and learned the profession of typesetter from 1956 to 1959. After the journeyman's examination he went to the college for typesetter in Offenbach . From 1961 to 1971 he worked in his learned profession in the Dr. Middelhauve in Opladen . At the same time, he acquired the REFA basic license , continued his education in graphic design at the Werkkunstschule Wuppertal and passed his master's examination as a typesetter in 1967. In 1977, after four years of evening studies, he achieved the degree of business administration graduate with a thesis on the subject of "The development of a marketing concept for a printing company". In the West German publishing housein Opladen he worked as a technical editor and graphic designer, and from 1972 to 1996 he was operations manager at the TÜV Rheinland publishing house in Cologne.

Until 1987, Breidenbach was a part-time lecturer in intellectual property law at the Cologne Chamber of Commerce and Industry and developed two teaching print shops at the TÜV Rheinland Academy. From 1991 to 1994 he was an honorary member of the master craftsman examination committee of the Cologne Chamber of Commerce.

In his free time he was in the men's choir and performed in the local carnival "Tenter meddemang" as a hand-made speaker and singer with guitar.

From 2001 to 2006 he was Germany's representative for the national liberal-conservative weekly newspaper Rheinischer Merkur .

Klaus J. Breidenbach did voluntary work in youth work for the German Scouting Society of St. Georg , where he held the office of Gaufeldmeister from 1966 to 1968. He is Roman Catholic and has been married to Gisela born in 1969. Börsch, has two children and four grandchildren, he lives in Wermelskirchen .

Local history explorer

At the beginning of the 1980s, Klaus J. Breidenbach studied history at the Fernuniversität Hagen and began researching and investigating home and family history, which he first published in magazines, home calendars and festivals and later as monographs. He also repeatedly took over the editing and editing of local festschriften and gave lectures on local historical topics in the Bergisches Land . Publications on the history of the Catholic Church in Wermelskirchen, a historical atlas for Wermelskirchen and the Bergisches Land and a document book for Wermelskirchen are in preparation.
