Klaus Lisiewicz (born February 2, 1943 in Bensberg ) is a former Leipzig soccer player. He played for SC Rotation and BSG Chemie in the GDR Oberliga , the top division of the GDR Football Association . With Chemie Leipzig he was champion in 1964 and cup winner in 1966. He is a multiple young national player and won the Olympic bronze medal in the 1964 Olympic soccer tournament .

Klaus Lisiewicz began his GDR league career in 1961 with SC Rotation Leipzig. After he had become GDR champion with the junior team of SC Rotation in July 1961, he made his debut as a league player on September 2, 1961 in the match on the 15th match day between SC Rotation and Dynamo Berlin (4: 3) as a substitute. By the end of the 1961/62 season, the 20-year-old attacking player had already played 20 league games and scored four goals. In 1960 and 1961 he was part of the GDR junior national team, for which he played six international matches. He then played an international match as a rotation player in 1962 with the GDR youth national team. Nevertheless, he was not one of the players of the newly founded SC Leipzig when reorganizing top-level football in Leipzig , but was assigned to the secondary company sports association (BSG) Chemie Leipzig as the “rest of Leipzig” . Even there he was initially not taken into account, but was then used from the 15th matchday of the 1963/64 season on in all league point games. At the end of the season he was able to celebrate the greatest success of his football career, because chemistry surprisingly became East German champion. In the years that followed, Lisiewicz became the chemists' regulars as a winger.

In 1964 he was part of the squad of the GDR soccer team . After he had played a qualifying game, he traveled to the Olympic soccer tournament in Tokyo, where he was used in the preliminary round match against Mexico (2-0). Since the GDR selection then won the small final 3-1 over Egypt, Lisiewicz was one of the tournament players who went home with a bronze medal. Between 1964 and 1965 Lisiewicz also played seven other youth internationals.

On April 30, 1966, he had another high point in his career when he won the GDR soccer cup . In the 1-0 final win over Lok Stendal, he was called up as a left winger. After a less successful 1966/67 season with only 12 league appearances, Lisiewicz was drafted into military service in November 1967. In these 18 months he was able to continue playing football for the second-rate GDR league club ASG Vorwärts Leipzig . After completing his army service, he was again a regular player in the Oberligaelf von Chemie Leipzig in the 1969/70 and 1970/71 seasons, but was now often used in midfield. In 1971/72 the BSG Chemie had to play in the GDR league after being relegated from the league. In the immediate resurgence Lisiewicz was involved with 19 of 30 league games and eight goals. The 1972/73 league season led to the end of Lisiewicz's competitive sports career. Mainly as a midfielder, he played 16 league games. His last game was the local derby on the 18th match day on April 28, 1972. In the 1-0 defeat against 1. FC Lok Leipzig, Lisiewicz stood again for 60 minutes as the right midfielder in the ranks of the chemistry team. It was his 134th league game for Chemie Leipzig, in which he had scored 17 goals.
