Klaus Meier-Ude

Klaus Meier-Ude (born October 13, 1927 in Lübeck ) is a German photographer and photojournalist .

Meier-Ude worked for the Frankfurter Rundschau for many years . In 1968 he received the Theodor Wolff Prize for his photo report Book of Hours of a City , which was published in the spring of 1967 in the Frankfurter Rundschau. One of his best-known books are the illustrated books Die Jewish Friedhöfe in Berlin (1984) and Die Jewish Friedhöfe in Frankfurt am Main (2004), edited with Valentin Senger .

He is married to Christel Ude (* 1927) and has one daughter.
