Klaus Mettig

Klaus Mettig (* 1950 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a German artist . He lives in Düsseldorf .

In 1973 Klaus Mettig received a scholarship from the Whitney Museum of American Art , New York City . Between 1976 and 1978 he traveled to and from the USA and China. Mettig is one of the first multimedia artists. He has been using photography and video art to deal with social issues since the 1970s.
