Klaus Teichert

Klaus Teichert (born June 27, 1954 in Flensburg ) is a German political official and former member of the SPD . From 2006 to 2009 he was State Secretary in the Senate Department for Finance of the State of Berlin .

biography

Teichert first completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter in Flensburg. After graduating from high school, he completed a degree in architecture in Oldenburg from 1977 , which he completed as a graduate engineer . From 1980 to 1987 Teichert worked as a project engineer at Opel in Rüsselsheim and Saragossa (Spain). After a brief activity as technical manager at JSK Architects in Frankfurt, Teichert worked for the software company Intergraph from 1988 to 1993 . From 1993 to 2006 he held leading positions at various companies, including Hochtief Software GmbH, Innovationszentrum Bau GmbH of Investitionsbank Berlin , Mühl Produkt & Service AG, BwConsulting GmbH of the German armed forces and BIM Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH.

Since January 1, 2006, Teichert was State Secretary in the Berlin Senate Department for Finance under Senator Thilo Sarrazin (SPD). After Senator Ulrich Nussbaum (non-party) succeeded him in May 2009 , Teichert was dismissed as State Secretary on July 14, 2009. Christian Sundermann was his successor .

From January 2010 to June 2012, Teichert was spokesman for the management of the special fund for schools - construction and operation in Hamburg . From February 2015 to June 2017 he was Managing Director of the State Office for Construction and Property Management Saxony-Anhalt in Magdeburg. Since July 2017 he has been managing director of Hertha BSC Stadion GmbH.

Teichert is married for the second time and has two grown daughters.
