Klaus Umbach
Klaus Umbach (born April 24, 1936 ; † January 28, 2018 in Cologne ) was a German cultural journalist who became known for his pointed articles and glosses in the magazine Der Spiegel , but also as a book author.
Life
Umbach studied law. He then worked as an editor at EMI , including Deutsche Welle .
From 1969 to 2007 he was music editor in the cultural section of the German news magazine Der Spiegel .
