Klaus Wanninger

Klaus Wanninger , formerly also Klaus Christian Wanninger (* March 1, 1953 in Karlsruhe , Baden-Württemberg as Ernst Wenninger ), is the pseudonym of a Swabian writer who is best known for his crime novels with strong regional references. He lives near Stuttgart.

Life

Wanninger studied Protestant theology and geography at the University of Heidelberg , is a teacher and works as a religion teacher at a grammar school in Backnang . Since about 1972 he has been traveling about 100,000 km per year on rails across Europe.

He writes novels, non-fiction books, travel guides and journalistic works. According to his own statements, he uses his pseudonym because he is of the opinion that today's young people should rather be encouraged to deal with the negative world of his books. For this reason, it is important that his real name is not known in this context.

Wanninger is one of the crime writers with novels with regional references such as Jacques Berndorf or Hannes Nygaard .

Its regular readership lives in Baden-Württemberg.
