Klaus Zink (born January 20, 1936 in Plauen ) is a former German football player .

In his youth, Klaus Zink played with the team from Glühlampenwerk Plauen . In August 1955 he moved to SC Wismut Karl-Marx-Stadt . It took until May 12, 1957, before he played his first league game at SC Motor Jena (2-1). In the period from 1957 to 1971 he completed 279 league games (82 goals) for the Erzgebirge. His last league game was on October 30, 1971 at 1. FC Magdeburg (0: 5), when he came on again for Holger Erler .

He played nine of the 16 games in the European Cup between 1957 and 1960. In the second leg in Aue against Rapid Vienna on November 23, 1960 he scored the 2-0 and thus forced a playoff. In Basel, however, SC Wismut Karl-Marx-Stadt lost 1-0 to the Hütteldorfer. For a long time (until 1985) that was the Auer's last game in an international competition.

Klaus Zink played four B internationals and one junior international for the GDR. In the season 1968/69 he was behind the Rostock Gerd Kostmann (18 goals) with 15 goals second best scorer.

He lives in Chemnitz.
